Volunteers

Leapwood has wonderful volunteers helping throughout our campus. Our Volunteers ensure our children's safety with morning valet, assist in classrooms, they serve on committees, maintain our gardens, help with various programs throughout the year and are important to our school and the community.  Our Parent Center coordinates all of our volunteers and assignments.  We always have opportunities for additional volunteers to help our students reach their potential.

If you would like to be a part of our family of volunteers, please visit https://volunteerapp.lausd.net/ or click on the link above and you'll be redirected to LAUSD Parent and Community Services Volunteer Management System. There you can register and complete the volunteer application. All volunteers are screened on the Megan's Law database. A copy of a recent TB test is required in addition to *fingerprinting if applicable. 

For additional information, please visit our Parent Center between the hours of 8am to 2pm Monday through Friday.

*Fingerprinting is required for applicants defined as a Tier III Volunteer. See LAUSD BUL-6746.2
